Not every dog wants to make friends, and that's okay!
Some dogs are ready to make friends straight away, while others would rather keep their distance. And that's absolutely fine!
I've had nervous and reactive dogs of my own, so I know that not every dog is comfortable around other dogs. It's something that's really important to me when I'm out walking, because I want the dogs in my care to feel comfortable and enjoy their time with me.
Meet Betty and Tom, my two very different little housemates!
I've always had animals in my life, and I've got two at home who are very different from each other!
There's Betty, my Chihuahua, and Tom, our family tortoise, who's actually the same age as me.
And yes, a tortoise really has been part of my life for as long as I can remember!
